Welcome to all those that would like to take a look through this little window into some of the adventures of our family journey. We would like to dedicate this scrapbook journal of sorts, to family members that have gone before us in this medium. Because of the joy that their family journaling, in this way, has brought to us, we were moved to not only to try to return the favor hopefully, but also provide a lasting record to return to throughout the years as a reminder of our quest to be commited to remember where the truest and most lasting joy comes from. Also, we dedicate all effort of this page to our outrageously fun not to mention patient children, as they continue to be an irreplaceable tool in chiseling out the shape of the masterpiece that our family is to become. We love you and hope what follows in the adventures ahead will bring you a few smiles as well as increase the unity of our family and friendships. Continue at your own risk.....

As I Live My Eternities I Will Never Forget These Very Special Days

Ok-so we know now we have our own personal "Genie"-Ronald planned one of the greatest trips to suprise Selleka for her NEW TEENAGER birthday! So before I go on-
THANK YOU to my knight (in shining armor of God) for the love that went into putting this trip together-you have always had such a great desire to provide many great adventures for our family-you truly make our dreams come to life so often----------We had the one of thee greatest times-yes the accomodations were fabulous, yes,the activities were a riot and yes, being pampered this way was unbelievable---but even with all of that set up for us nothing-not a single thing-was more of a priceless dream than spending those 3 days with my absolutely beautiful, insightful, observant, really funny, growing up way too fast ,transforming by the minute into a lovely young woman-daughter Selleka Marie- Selleka and I share a lot of qualities in common-but I'll tell you-spending time alone with Selleka is like seeing the world through a magnifying glass-she sees everything and learns from everything-she feels things strongly, passionately, and deeply and I was able to enjoy realizing what a fabulous sense of humor she has- not only that-- I learned that her favorite candy bars are butterfingers and rolos--you know I had never known that-I also learned that she is not the least bit scared of roller coasters or even the scariest of rides----As I live out my eternities I will never forget these days with you, Selleka--I love you Selleka Marie-I learn so much from you everyday-you continue to grow up so beautifully and I am even more excited then ever to learn from you as you continue to grow up and face your new adventures each and every day- We are truly blessed to have you in our family and most definately wound not be the family we are becoming without you---
DO NOT EVER DOUBT that you make a difference in our family...you already have and you always will! Thanks for accepting the calling to be apart of our family-

Dream Day #1 SUPRISE! Selleka's suprise Birthday trip to Florida with me-jury still out on who really won on this deal

So-woke up Selleka and suprised her for her birthday weekend-took off to the airport-flew to Orlando where Ronald had arranged for a car service to pick us ups and take us to a wonderful Disney Hotel-we both had to keep pinching eachother to be sure we were not dreaming

Dream Day #3 (we're going out of order)BIRTHDAY DAY-Happy 13th

Day #3 was Selleka's Real Birthday day...we played around the beautiful hotel, took fun pictures, ate, relaxed, before we had to head back to the airport to go home--all the while dressed like twins with the shirts we bought at Disney World--can you believe my new teenager would dress like a twin with her MOM-I was so proud of her and it was really a lot of fun

DREAM DAY #2

After a SUPRISE awakening to breakfast in bed-we got ready-with matching huge sunglasses to complete us and with my WAY COOL NEW TEENAGER at my side-caught the Disney Bus and headed off to more birthday adventures-just a thrill

Our Fantasy Day at all the Disney Parks!

After a yummy breakfast we headed off to one of the funnest days-we took off to see if we could spend time at all the Disney Parks- and we did it-wish we were able to show you all the pictures-especially the ones we took with our hearts-when your in town we can show you the album-Thanks Selleka for an UNFORGETTABLE, IRREPLACEABLE DAY WITH YOU-

Going with Selleka to Disney world is a BLAST- right when we got their we went to the hospitality house to get her presented with her "Disneyworld special birthday girl pin"- we loved the rides-she's not afraid of any of them-she always had wanted one of the Disney Artists to draw her portrait-so we made that dream come true and it was great-We just had a riot and ate fish and chip in Epcot-rode all the rides at Disneyworld-road the movies at MGM from first dawn to midnight...unforgettable

Disney World with Selleka is a BLAST!We had a total riot-Selleka said she always wanted the stetch aritist at Disney World to do her portrait so we did it -so cool and we made sure to take in Ronald's favorite ride "Small World" In honor of his not so small generosity in providing such a fantasy trip!

Our own little Tikitiki tembo no sarembo char bari rushi pit peri pembo

This Past April, Ryker starred in his first grade play-he played the part of
"Tiki tiki tembo no sarembo chari bari rushi pit peri pembo"-he was WONDERFUL-one of his favorite parts was falling into the pretend water well and then after being rescue and revived he spit water into the air-he just got the biggest kick out of that-GREAT JOB RYKER--we tend to believe their are many more parts out there for this drama king--If you ever want to see the video-just let us know.

WELCOME TO GENERAL CONFERENCE APRIL 2008

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SAMANTHA!!!! Thanks for the fun party at SLC Macaroni Grill and especially the crazy fun memories there!! We Love You!

How do you describe the feeling of "FAMILY"?

To me....I think descibing the feeling of family is pretty much as hard as describing the feeling of sincere love....maybe that is because the two words can be almost synonomous at time.....for me neither can really be described effectively, only FELT individually.... and those feelings seem to be much more magnified when
when sincere compassion, forgiveness, and humility are present to be woven throughout each experience that is granted us ....most likely to be more cherished thank taken for granted! But, don't get me wrong.... nurturing love and family seem to also surface some feelings of confusion, frustration, possible regrets, and even heart ache...BUT ISN'T IT ALL WORTH IT?....We choose to believe it IS!

Mingling with friends and family....PRICELESS!

Most definately we absolutely LOVE General Conference, just for all the love, guidance, peace and perspective it ALWAYS provides for our family, but we have always enjoyed the time we get to spend with friend and family at General Conference... there is really a different feeling during those visits...probably due to the love we felt growing up and going....one way or the other... Thanks again for years of GC Memories!

Here we are Salt Lake City!!!

Loving EVERY minute of the Salt Lake City saftey street patroling....Never have that many bright orange flags waiting for free use and entertainment for this family OR we will show you how is really done! GOOD TIMES!

A Celebration of Amazing Women and Keeping to the Guidelines the Lord has Set!

Give me a young woman who loves home and family-whoreads and ponders the scriptures daily-who has a burning testimony of the Book of Mormon-Give me a woman who faithfully attends her Church meetings-who attends seminary--Give me a young woman who is virtuous and who has maintained her personal purity, who will not settle for less than a temple marriage---and I will give you a young woman who will perform miracles for the Lord now and throughout eternity
-Ezra Taft Benson
THANK YOU for surrounding my valiant young women with Grandmas, Aunt, and Cousins that shine the way before them....and serve as such deserving heros to them!

THANK YOU SO MUCH for everyone who was able to take the time to come and not only help pick out Shayli's first "date dance" dress, but more importantly help us celebrate this beautiful young woman that is not only absolutely gorgeous, but has continued to develop such a stunning spirit and virtuous standards--Your examples continue to be a guiding light to all of our children!

There is nothing more beautiful than a modest, humble, standard keeping, parent respecting, young woman who loves the Lord and has the light of Christ in her eyes and her heart!
